The second day of the forum seemed busier than the first, maybe th 20 or so anti mining demonstrators outside yesterday really did put people off attending?

More good companies to review today, and a whole round of meetings and presentations becomes a blur as information overload kicks in. Sadly the cocktails ran out pretty quickly and people dispersed quickly. Continue reading

The 2019 Denver Gold Group forum opened in Zurich and attendance levels, like the weather, were good. The threat of protesters outside did not put anyone off attending.

Participating companies here are generally in production and making money, and this allows the organisers to be selective about who attends. This morning I had to show my passport to gain entry, a first for any mining event I have ever attended. Continue reading

European Gold Forum Zurich

 European Gold Forum, Zurich.

As one would expect for a gold forum held in Zurich, this is a superbly organised event which oozes quality, from the venue through to the attending mining companies. Presenters are mainly gold producers, but there are the odd exceptions.

The EGF Zurich, run by the Denver Gold Group, was the forerunner of other conferences where one on one meetings are the principal focus, and delegates are generally fund managers and professionals investors. Continue reading

Condor Gold reports recent metallurgical testwork results from La India

Announced recent metallurgical test work conducted by B2Gold  on behalf of the Company from samples taken from an area within the permitted La India open pit.

Two samples of approximately 23kg each produced an average head grade of 12.1 g/t gold and average metallurgical gold recoveries of 95.4%. Continue reading
