Dear Investors & Colleagues,
We are pleased to share our 2026 Annual Report for the year ended 30 June 2026.
2026 has been Barton’s fifth full year as a publicly listed company, and one which has marked continuing rapid progress as we transition from an ‘explorer’ building our Resource base to a ‘developer’ moving to commercialise and enhance our platform and portfolio of assets.
Among others, notable 2026 achievements include:
Exploration
1) execution of several drilling programs including a major 58,000m upgrade drilling program at Tunkillia to support gold and silver MRE updates, a PFS and MLA;
2) rapid advancement of Tunkillia’s PFS and other work programs, to support a robust project investment proposition and MLA, both targeting H1 CY 2027;
3) growth of Challenger’s MRE to 313koz Au, the further discovery of new mineralisation grading up to 170 g/t Au on its main open pit and confirmation that the CGM is suitable for recommissioning, all as the basis for an ongoing DFS; and
4) material extensions at our ‘Tolmer’ silver discovery, where high-grade silver and gold zones emerged in parallel with assays up to 17,600 g/t Ag and 83 g/t Au;
Corporate
5) completion of two institutional placements to leading global precious metals investment funds totalling $40.9 million, each priced at modest discounts and with minimal placement costs, materially enhancing the quality of Barton’s shareholder register, and funding several key value-add milestones during the 2027 FY;
6) completion of the acquisition of all rights to Wudinna, bringing a further 279koz Au MRE and a potential source of valuable blending feed to our development platform; and
7) Barton’s addition to the S&P Global ASX ‘All Ordinaries’ Index during September 2025.
These accomplishments prepare Barton for an exciting year ahead as we pursue commercialisation of the Company’s assets and the successful transition from ‘developer’ to ‘producer’. During the coming 6 – 9 months, we are targeting (among others):
- further drilling of our ‘core’ and ‘regional’ growth assets;
- the publication of multiple gold and silver JORC Resources upgrades;
- the publication of two feasibility studies for Challenger and Tunkillia; and
- further analysis of our increasingly exciting Tolmer silver discovery.
These initiatives are fully funded, with $32 million cash on hand as at 30 June 2026. Our team also continue evaluating other potential value-add initiatives, in keeping with our track record of working to generate new options for the Company.
We thank our many valued stakeholders for an exceptional year, including the South Australian State Government, our Native Title partners, the local communities in which we operate, and, of course, our growing base of international shareholders, large and small.
The path ahead for Barton Gold is exciting, and we are deeply honoured to have your support. For those local to Adelaide, or able to travel, we hope that you will be able to join us for our upcoming Annual General Meeting on 27 November 2026.

Regards,
Alexander Scanlon
