The importance of engaging with investors
The early 21st century has introduced a myriad of new methods for companies to communicate their stories and news, the internet has brought in email, then social media, Twitter, Facebook, G+, webinars, podcasts, RSS feeds et al.
All have their respective merits, but, at the end of the day, nothing comes close to the trust and respect that can be established during a face to face meeting.
Personal meetings and presentations create engagement rather than passing interest, and ensure focus instead of distraction.
Those companies that engage with investors personally, build relationships and trust, and, when they deliver on their objectives, subsequently build a loyal and growing shareholder base.
There simply isn’t a substitute for personal contact and engagement!
