Thor Mining announces successful test results on Australia copper samples

Announced it had produced successful laboratory test work results for the extraction of copper at the Kapunda project in Australia, in partnership with Environmental Copper Recovery.

Up to 78% copper was recovered within two days of bottle-roll leach testing.  The extraction agent was glycine, a biodegradable amino acid. Continue reading

Thor Mining feasibility study reveals income of $500 million over 7 years

Released the results of its latest DFS for the company’s Molyhil tungsten and molybdenum project in the Northern Territory of Australia, revealing that over the next seven years project revenue will be in excess of $500 million.

The project will have an EBITDA of A$245 million, with a payback period of less than 18 months. Thor is targeting first production  for early 2020. Continue reading

Tyranna Resources has signed an agreement to complete the acquisition of Goodsprings cobalt project

Has signed an agreement with US Cobalt to acquire the Goodsprings cobalt and base metals project in Nevada, USA.

Kootenay announces high grade drill results from their Malé gold project in Mexico

Announced high grade gold sampling results on its 100% owned Malé gold project located 100 kilometers south east of the city of Hermosillo in the state of Sonora, Mexico.  .

Of the 426 predominately grab samples taken by Kootenay from old pits and hand-dug small trenches, 30 samples analysed gold values greater than 10 g/t, highlighted by individual samples returning 260.0 g/t, 85.5 gpt, 81.2 g/t and 53.4 g/t gold. Continue reading
