AIC Mines (ASX: A1M)
Announced drilling results from the Oro Grande prospect, part of the Eloise Regional Project, located approximately 45 km south of the Eloise copper mine in Northwest Queensland.
The hole intersected two distinct zones of anomalous mineralisation, the lower zone returned the best result: 5.6m grading 5.1g/t Au from 493.0m.

AIC Mines’ First Drillhole Intersects High-Grade Gold Mineralisation at Oro Grande
.
AIC Mines Limited (ASX: A1M) (“AIC Mines” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce
drilling results from the Oro Grande prospect, part of the Eloise Regional Project,
located approximately 45 kilometres south of the Eloise copper mine in Northwest
Queensland.
.
Highlights
• A ground electromagnetic survey completed by AIC Mines in 2025 to test the
intersection of two regional fault zones identified several strong conductors that
warranted drilling. No previous drilling had been conducted at the prospect area.
• The prospect – now called the Oro Grande prospect – was awarded a Collaborative
Exploration Initiative (CEI) grant by the Queensland Government to co-fund a single
diamond drillhole.
• The hole intersected two distinct zones of anomalous mineralisation, an upper
copper-gold-silver zone, and a lower gold-zinc zone. The lower zone returned the
best result:
• 5.6m grading 5.1g/t Au from 493.0m
• The electromagnetic conductors targeted by the drilling remain open up and down
dip, and over a strike length of one kilometre.
• The presence of high-grade gold and anomalous copper and zinc mineralisation
warrants follow-up drilling – planned for the 2027 field season.
.
Commenting on the results, AIC Mines’ Managing Director Clint Donkin said:“Our transformational discovery program across the 1,800 square kilometre Eloise Regional Project continues to return exciting results.
“We are coupling good science with good execution – and it is pleasing to see such good results returned.
“We appreciate the support from the Queensland Government, through the Collaborative Exploration Initiative, to co-fund the drilling of early-stage exploration prospects.“
