Further to the recent offer made by Romelius Resources, with a seven day cutoff, Gold Road (ADX: GOR) have thrown their hat in the ring with an improved offer, all in cash.
This will put the cat amongst the pigeons!

Apollo Consolidated (ASX: AOP) are in receipt of an all cash offer of A$0.56 cents from Gold Road Resources (ASX: GOR).
This is superior to the Recent offer by Romelius Resources, which is conditional and largely involves scrip rather than cash.
One wonders whether Romelius will improve on their offer, or if they see Gold Road as having more firepower, and concede.
This would see two of the companies on our watchlist combine, so a vindication of our stocks picks on this occasion.
