He is highly experienced with the British Columbia regulatory and mine management requirements, project planning, permitting, commissioning and operating of underground mines. Mr. Masse lives in Prince George, B.C., and will assume his new position in June, 2019, subject to customary TSX Venture Exchange requirements.

As the vice-president of operations, Mr. Masse will be responsible for advancing the Cariboo gold project as well as overseeing operations on Barkerville Mountain and at the QR mill. He will ensure all operations are run in an economic and sustainable manner, while maintaining the highest level of health and safety practices.

Chris Lodder, chief executive officer, commented, “On behalf of the management team, I want to thank Francois for the commitment and professionalism he has demonstrated during his tenure as chief operating officer and wish him the very best in his new opportunity.”
