PDAC Toronto 2020

The annual Canadian mining conference season has is starting in Toronto with two minor conferences ahead of the main event, which starts tomorrow, Sunday.

It will be interested to see how attendance figures fare after I have heard that some people have decided not to attend due to Coronavirus fears. There are normally numerous Chinese visitors to #PDAC2020, it remains to be seen how many attend this year.

The $25 per day admission charge, introduced last year for the first time remains, and to be honest the attendance was level with the previous year, so it didn’t put anyone off.

With so many people travelling from around the world, I would imagine there will be the usual 25,000 people over four days, although maybe fewer visitors from China, due to less flights leaving that country.
