Minera IRL updated on their arbitration versus COFIDE in Peru

Provided an update on the Company arbitration process against Corporación Financiera de Desarrollo – COFIDE.

The Precautionary Measure granted by the Superior Court of Justice of Lima and ratified by the Arbitration Panel, which prevents COFIDE from collecting the US$70 million Bridge Loan debt or executing its payment guarantees, remains in effect until the arbitration is concluded. Continue reading

Radisson Mining intersects 6.2 g/t of gold over 2 metres in new drill campaign at O’Brien

Announced an update of the exploration program underway at the O’Brien gold project.

Hole OB-18-81 intersected 6.2 g/t Au over 2.0 meters at 47.1 m vertical depth, and Hole OB-18-80 intersected 1.0 g/t Au over 11.7 meters at 81.1 m vertical depth. The O’Brien gold project remains open at depth below the 550 m level. Continue reading

Lithium Power International submits EIA to the Chilean government for the Maricunga project

   Lithium Power International Ltd. {ASX: LPI}

Announced that through its JV Company, Minera Salar Blanco , advises that it has submitted the environmental Impact Assessment Report (“EIA”) for the Maricunga Lithium Brine Project  to the Chilean Environmental Authority.

Final approval of the EIA is expected to be obtained by the end of 2019, and if approved a construction decision made by Q1 2020. Continue reading

Zenyatta Ventures – University of Toronto confirm concrete strength improvement with Albany graphite.

Announced preliminary research findings from the University of Toronto, that confirm significant improvements in the compressive and flexural strength of cement when graphene products  are combined with the cement.

Including graphene in quantities of as little as 0.02% increased the compressive strength of cured cement paste by up to 39%, according to the research. Continue reading

Barkerville Gold reports higher grades mined and a solid mill performance at Bonanza Ledge

Announced positive results from its test mine at Bonanza Ledge, including Mine grades of 7.05 g/t compared favourably to the planned of 6.5 g/t au.
