As the trial of Mark Scott commences in the USA, the authorities are still seeking the whereabouts of OneCoin founder Dr. Ruja Ignatov.

.

Scott is accused of laundering some $40 million through offshore bank accounts on behalf of Ignatov, a charge he denies. Scott is reputed to have been well rewarded for his efforts, receiving a large yacht, several luxury cars, and multi million dollar houses in the US.

.

Scott’s defence is that he simply did not realise OneCoin was a ponzi scheme, despite using a crypto phone to communicate with her, or by travelling to Sofia on Bulgaria for personal meetings with her, without other staff present.

.

It has been stated that after fleeing the authorities, Ignatov told her brother she had the protection and support of a wealthy Russian individual.

.

Despite the disappearance of the founder of the company, seemingly significant sums of money, and the trial in the USA, OneCoin still insists it is a valid crypt currency, despite not having a blockchain!

.

Not sure how that works, but surely this farce has to end soon?
