The 2019 London 121 Mining forum began its first day at the Westminster Hall.

The event was very busy, it looked to be busier than previous events at the same venue in 2018. Around 100 corporates were in attendance.

The 2019 London 121 Mining forum began its first day at the Westminster Hall.

The event was very busy, it looked to be busier than previous events at the same venue in 2018. Around 100 corporates were in attendance.

The standard of organisation was superb as ever, as was the catering, with food and coffee always available, in addition to the buffet lunch.

.

The event was separated into 6 sections , A – E, which meant navigating through the maze of corridors, making timely arrival at meetings challenging.

.

Over 100 mainly exploration companies, with a focus on Australia and Canadamet one to one with investors, and presented in turn at the presentation forum.  Ten minute speaking slots are not ideal, but enable a CEO to at least create interest in his compan.

I noticed some Swiss fund managers walking around, and the normal IR guys from Germany.

.

At the end of the day the usual drinks reception was absolutely heaving, the busiest I have ever seen.

 

This show really is on a  par with the European Gold Forum, superbly run my consummate professionals, wonderful staff, and a well sited venue.
