London 121 Mining Forum – Day 2

  121 Mining Forum – London – Day 2

Not so well attended as yesterday, but still busy at the second and final day of the conference.

By late afternoon many are wilting under the onslaught of either giving or receiving presentations for two long days, and the drinks couldn’t cone quick enough.

Despite lacking ‘buzz’, I found a few companies I liked.

121 Mining Forum – London – Day 2

Not so well attended as yesterday, but still busy at the second and final day of the conference.

By late afternoon many are wilting under the onslaught of either giving or receiving presentations for two long days, and the drinks couldn’t cone quick enough.

.

Despite lacking ‘buzz’, I found a few companies I liked, which I have listed below.

.

Please note these are not recommendations, just a collection of companies that I personally liked, and will check out further.

Atico Mining (TSX.V: ATY)

Mining copper in Colombia, and a new gold exploration project in Ecuador.

Vulcan Energy Resources (ASX: VUL)

Very interesting thermal lithium project located in the Ruhr, Germany, close to the Volkswagen and new Tesla EV factories.

Will be energy negative due to their producing electricity whilst recovering the lithium.

.

LEAGOLD  (TSC: LMC)

Producing gold mines in Mexico and Brazil, looking to expand to 300,000 oz au per annum in due course, with further exploration potential.

Looks undervalued on current production, perhaps due to the current short mine lives, which can be expanded with further exploration.

.

Blackrock Gold (TSX:V: BRC)

New exploration story in Nevada, in a good neighbourhood with some very large nearby operating mines for company.

Forthcoming drill program will define the company if it hits, and even if it doesn’t there are other high grade targets to focus on, so not a one trick pony.

.

Westhaven Ventures (TSX.V: WHN)

Gold exploration in British Columbia.

Recent selling means that this is available for around half the price of a few months ago, and possibly a good entry point at a market cap of around CAD$72 million, around 30% less than the recent placing.
