Well it had to happen, and it did!

The attendance today was very sparse, and of course for those companies and newsletter writers presenting, there was hardly anyone listening! I wonder how they feel about the tiny audience?

Well it had to happen, and it did!

The attendance today was very sparse, and of course for those companies and newsletter writers presenting, there was hardly anyone listening! I wonder how they feel about the tiny audience?

On the presumption that all companies paid the same to attend the show, I wonder how companies presenting to a near empty auditorium on Day 2 feel after seeing the full houses on day 1?

.

One lesson to be learned, and I know this from past experience in conferences in Switzerland where the audience can halve after lunch, is get in writing your presentation slot, otherwise you can end up with few people listening to you!

I actually left the PDAC and went over for the excellent free lunch, as did others sporting the two conference badges. The reception were handing out raffle tickets for a 2.30 pm draw in an effort to keep people, but an Amazon Dot was never going to be enough to resist returning straight away to the PDAC.

If I were a company, or newsletter writer, presenting on Day 2, I would be asking for a refund personally.

In summing up, great day 1, but why did you even bother with day 2?
